Hi, I'm Aviva from Ra'anana.
I've always liked taking pictures, and I have 50+ albums full of printed pictures of everything from growing up in Brooklyn to making Aliya and raising a family here.
Now, I take digital photos. But I wanted to preserve the photos in those albums and make them easily accessible. With my background in web design and the use of Photoshop, and my skill with technology, I learned how to scan photos at a very high quality (resolution), fix common problems (color correction, red-eye and more), restore old photographs, organize and store them safely online. I can now share these albums quickly and easily with friends and family, and find photos effortlessly to use in slide shows and other presentations.

As part of this service, you are entitled to a free consultation with Aviva, with absolutely no commitment. This consultation can happen in person, or by phone.

What is involved in digitizing photos?
There are several steps in this process to make sure your pictures transferred online in a safe and orderly way
1. After you remove your photos from an album, you bring them to Aviva to discuss how you would like to name the album collection.
2. The pictures are numbered on the back to maintain the their original order.
3. Photos are scanned at a high resolution.
4. Common issues like straightening, color-correction, and red eye are addressed.
5. Photos are uploaded to a secure and accessible online location.
6. There is an additional option to back up the photos to a physical device as well -- a disk-on-key or hard drive provided by the customer or purchased through Aviva.
7. You retrieve your photos from Aviva.

How much does this cost?
The process described above costs 1 NIS per photo.
Aviva will remove the photos from the albums for an additional .40 NIS per picture. The empty albums will be returned to you with the pictures.

What if my pictures are badly damaged by age or stains?
Advanced photo restoration is a premium service. If you have very badly discolored photos which require additional work to restore their colors and quality, the price will depend on the time involved. Most restorations cost 20 NIS per picture. Photo restoration will only occur with the express request of the client.

I am not so comfortable with technology. How will I find the photos once they are digitized and uploaded online?
Aviva has a lot of experience teaching people to use all kinds of computer applications. As part of this service, she will teach you how to find your pictures, and provide a short video that shows you how to find the pictures, if requested, at no extra charge.

What else can be digitized?
Family memorabilia is often digitized.: This includes scanning family documents and records, kids' artwork, birthday cards, scrapbook pages, etc., labeling the files and archiving the digital images to a location that works for you and your family. Pricing is available upon request.
